Check the table in the lobby for memory verse cards in English and Czech. We’ll try to have cards for the next 3 or 4 weeks out at a time. Here are the verses for the next few weeks:

22 April

  • Romans 6:11 So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.
  • Římanům 6:11 Stejně tak se i vy považujte za mrtvé hříchu a živé Bohu v Kristu Ježíši.

29 April

  • Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
  • Římanům 6:23 Odměnou hříchu je totiž smrt, ale Božím darem je věčný život v Kristu Ježíši, našem Pánu.

6 May

  • Romans 7:4 Likewise, my brothers, gyou also have died hto the law ithrough the body of Christ, so that you may belong to another, to him who has been raised from the dead, in order that we may bear fruit for God.
  • Římanům 7:4 Právě tak je tomu s vámi, bratři moji. Skrze Kristovo tělo jste pro Zákon mrtví a můžete se oddat jinému, totiž Tomu, který byl vzkříšen z mrtvých. Konečně tedy můžeme nést ovoce Bohu.

13 May

  • Romans 7:24-25 Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord!
  • Římanům 7:24-25 Jak ubohý jsem člověk! Kdo mě vysvobodí z tohoto smrtelného těla? Díky Bohu – on to udělá skrze Ježíše Krista, našeho Pána!

20 May

  • Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
  • Římanům 8:1 A proto již není žádné odsouzení pro ty, kdo jsou v Kristu Ježíši.

27 May

  • Romans 8:15 For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”
  • Římanům 8:15 Nepřijali jste přece ducha otroctví, abyste se znovu báli. Naopak, přijali jste Ducha synovství, v němž voláme Abba, Otče!
